Founder, Managing Director and CEO
Mr. Vikrant Satya is the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Varada Aerospace, a deep-tech venture focused on advancing indigenous capabilities in Aerospace and Defence. With over two decades of experience at Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), where he served as Scientist and Project Director in the Unmanned Aerial Systems domain, he brings deep expertise in developing and operationalizing complex defence technologies.
Under his leadership, Varada Aerospace is building next-generation systems across autonomous platforms, propulsion technologies and AI-enabled defence solutions — designed, developed and matured in India. His vision is to position India as a globally competitive Aerospace and Defence technology power, driven by innovation-led self-reliance and indigenous system ownership.
He leads the organization with a strong focus on engineering excellence, collaborative development and mission-ready execution, aligning Varada Aerospace with national priorities and the evolving demands of modern warfare.
